We’ve been providing Alaskan fishing adventures since 1985. When it comes to guided sport fishing in Alaska, it all really comes down to one thing – the quality of your guide. Our guides deliver a quality of service that is both personal and professional. Whether you’re seasoned angler or just getting your line wet for the first time, our guides will work with your skills and experience to help you get the most out of your Alaska fishing trip.
We have a very simple philosophy regarding success rate. We book 4 hunters a year for Brown bear and 4 hunters a year for Dall sheep. We never compromise this limited booking philosophy. With a limited number of hunters and a game rich environment it’s fairly simple to send hunters home with there quarry or provide opportunities for the hunters to do so.
On the world famous Kenai River some people catch Alaska salmon that outweigh their own body weight. The largest race of king salmon known in the world enters the glacial, turquoise waters of the Kenai River each year. The present sport fishing world record for king salmon was set on May 17, 1985 on the Kenai River and now stands at 97 lbs. 4 oz.; that giant salmon was not alone that day in the Kenai, because our Alaska salmon fishing guide service landed an 85 pound salmon that same morning. Our guests have over the years taken hundreds of giant Kenai king salmon over 50 pounds on our guided sport fishing trips.
The Kenai River Professional Guide Association is an organization devoted to protecting and preserving our national treasure: the Kenai River. Alaskan Experience Guide service is located at the heart of Bristol Bay. This area sustains some of the worlds most productive salmon fisheries. The Naknek River in King Salmon, Alaska is our home water, it flows out of Naknek Lake and Katmai National park. The Naknek is home to all five species of Pacific Salmon including: King, Silver, Sockeye, Chum and Pink. Throughout the season we use a variety of methods to catch salmon, trolling ,casting, and flyfishing. Naknek River King Salmon fishing is generally done from the boat because the river is quite large. For Silver Salmon fishing we do some wading as well as fish from the boat. Sockeye Salmon fishing is generally done wading or from the shore with spinning or flyfishing gear.

I spent most of my childhood fishing, hunting, and trapping in the area. My love for the outdoors grew and I decided that one day I would base my career around what I love. Today I have continued to do just that, with fourteen years of experience as a professional outfitter and a lifetime of experience in the world of sport fishing. I don’t just love to fish, I love to be the one that helps others enjoy this sport. The look on that ten year old boy or girls face when they land that first 20 lb. Salmon, or the wife who experiences that first screaming winter steelhead on light tackle. Whatever the case may be, I get a great thrill being involved in making dreams come true.I offer several different trips on many of Oregon’s waterways.
